VERSION: v01
Last Updated: 19th June 2026
Effective Date: 19th June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Themroc Limited ("Themroc", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our NumbersSolver mobile application ("NumbersSolver", "the app").
NumbersSolver is a number puzzle solver. We have designed it to be as private as possible: no account is required, and no personal information is collected from you by Themroc. The app's only third-party component is Google AdMob, used to display advertisements, which is described in detail below.
None. NumbersSolver does not require account creation or any personal information from you.
The following preferences are stored only on your device, using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage:
This data never leaves your device. Themroc does not operate any server that the app communicates with, and your settings are never transmitted to us or to any third party.
NumbersSolver is free to use and supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob. AdMob is operated by Google LLC, acting as an independent data processor — Themroc does not receive, see, or store any of the data described in this section.
Depending on the permission you grant (see App Tracking Transparency, below), AdMob may collect:
For full details of what Google collects and how it is used, see Google's own Privacy Policy and AdMob data disclosure.
The first time you launch NumbersSolver, iOS will show a system prompt asking whether the app may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. This is Apple's standard ATT prompt — Themroc has no ability to alter its wording or bypass it.
If you choose "Ask App Not to Track": AdMob will not use your advertising identifier, and you will see only non-personalised, contextual ads.
If you choose "Allow": AdMob may use your advertising identifier to show ads personalised to your interests. You can change this decision at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Either way, the app's functionality is identical — your choice only affects whether ads are personalised.
Themroc Limited does not itself collect or process any personal data through NumbersSolver. Your app settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us.
Where AdMob processes data (such as the advertising identifier) for personalised advertising, this is done on the basis of your consent, given (or withheld) via the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt. Where AdMob serves non-personalised, contextual ads, this is done on the basis of Google's own legitimate interest in operating the advertising service that funds the free version of the app.
Themroc Limited does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for any purpose. We have no servers and no analytics or crash-reporting tools collecting data on our behalf.
The only data sharing that occurs is between your device and Google, via the AdMob SDK embedded in the app, for the purpose of serving advertisements. This relationship is between you and Google — Themroc does not have access to the data AdMob collects, and does not control how Google uses it beyond the settings exposed through Apple's ATT framework.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, for example in response to a court order, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Themroc Limited, our users, or others. In practice, we hold no personal data capable of being disclosed in this way.
NumbersSolver is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
No Account Required: Anyone can use the app without providing any personal information.
If you believe a child has had personalised advertising shown to them inappropriately, this can be controlled directly via iOS Screen Time and Privacy settings, which take precedence over individual apps' ATT prompts.
If you have any concerns, please contact us at privacy@themroc.net.
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
Because Themroc holds no personal data of its own, requests relating to advertising data collected by AdMob should generally be directed to Google, although we are happy to assist or pass on a request on your behalf.
To exercise any of the above rights, or for help directing a request to Google, contact us at privacy@themroc.net. We will respond within 30 days.
Because your app settings are stored locally, you can delete them at any time simply by deleting the NumbersSolver app from your device. There is no need to contact us to do this.
Once available, purchasing the ad-free upgrade within the app will stop AdMob from loading altogether, so no advertising data is collected from your device going forward.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
If you are located in the EEA, the same rights and protections described above apply to you under the EU GDPR. Google AdMob processes data globally in accordance with its own published safeguards for international data transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as new features (such as the ad-free upgrade) are added to the app. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated version number and effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in app update release notes.
Your continued use of NumbersSolver after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

What we collect:
- Your app settings (appearance, seed count, solution limit) — stored only on your device, never sent to us
- If you allow tracking when prompted, Google AdMob collects a device advertising identifier to show personalised ads. If you decline, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalised
What we don’t do:
- We don’t require accounts or personal information
- We don’t collect analytics or crash reports ourselves
- We don’t sell or share your data — AdMob's data processing is handled directly by Google, not us
Your control:
- Choose "Ask App Not to Track" when prompted, or change it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Delete all your settings at any time by deleting the app
- Purchase the ad-free upgrade to stop AdMob loading entirely (once available)
- Contact us at privacy@themroc.net to exercise your data rights
